Shopping for Clothes in Japan - Online

I have spoken in a previous post about the difficulty of buying clothes in Japan for those not possessing a Japanese body-shape.

It's not impossible, especially in bigger cities. For example Tokyo is home to H&M, Zara, and Gap to name a few. But if you live outside of a big city, like me, you will usually find Uniqlo and not much else.

I get around this problem by buying online.

One of the best online shops I have come across is ASOS, which has a HUGE variety of clothes, shoes and accessories in stock at a reasonable price, and shipping to Japan is FREE! For other online shops which deliver to Japan, both for free and otherwise, refer to the list below.

Although many do ship to Japan, the postage is often fairly expensive (usually around GBP10).

Here is a (small) list of shops which deliver to Japan. The majority of these are UK-based. If you have any additions, please let us know in the comments. Prices in brackets are the postage:

  3. I read online at ASOS that they charge around £10-15 to ship internationally plus import tax. It didn't say Japan specifically. My city in Japan isn't big either and I want to find a way to clothes shop whilst I'm here
